Ravensmoon Replicas was founded in 1997 with a simple mission: to provide the very best products available at a fair price.

I have been a re-enactor for many years, and I've found it very difficult to get good costume pieces for reasonable prices. I mean, really, $300 for a cloak? Is it spun with gold in the weave? Yet I found this to be the prevailing case all over. Prices were exceptionally high and, as such, kept me from purchasing from more than a few select companies. The other thing I noticed was the almost complete lack of accessories for the medieval costume.  I have quite an extensive background in leatherworking and ceramics, and I have also worked a great deal with metal. I began to wonder why I shouldn't use my own talents to bring to others what I had been unable to find for myself ... and thus was our company born.
