| Chain Mail Shirt |
|
Called a byrnie or hauberk, depending on your place of origin, a chain mail shirt was a costly and extremely valued part of any armament collection. Because of its relatively low weight, it was often worn under clothing when on the town or traveling, to add extra protection against cutpurses or any other villainous types.
Chain shirts are custom-made to fit each individual's measurements, and may take up to six months to complete. Prices start at $200 and should not usually exceed $700. If you are interested or just curious, please drop a line and let me know; I will be happy to answer any questions on the subject.

I hope to have more leather armour available in the near future. Mark this site on your browser, and keep watch for changes!

| Herculean Wristbands |

|
I suppose these are not technically armour, but I made a pair of these for a friend not too long ago, and he and I both thought our customers would like them. 8-10 oz. leather, available in black.
Colors available: Black
Price: $30.00 per pair
|
|
| Leather Bracers |
|
Basic forearm protection that also looks good, bracers (or vambraces), like so many pieces of armour, later became useless affectations. Not so with ours! 8-10 oz. vegetable-tanned leather, hand-worked and dyed.
Colors available: Dark brown with brass hardware, or black with silver hardware
Price: $45.00 per pair

|
| Leather Gauntlets |

|
These gauntlets are plain old-fashioned mean! Please check your local statutes on weaponry before ordering, as some States have declared such items to be weapons. These gauntlets are made from heavy leather gloves, with leather "plates" riveted on for extra strength and protection. The leather is 8-10 oz. cowhide, and can actually repel blows from smaller armaments.
Colors available: Black
Styles: Plain leather extension, or chain mail extension
Price: $45.00 per pair
|
|
| Leather Greaves |
|
One of the dirtiest tricks of ancient combat was to kick your opponent hard in the shins, distracting him enough to get in a more fatal blow--which is why even foot soldiers used greaves. 12-14 oz. full thickness vegetable tanned leather, hand-crafted and dyed.
Colors available: Dark brown with brass hardware, or black with silver hardware
Price: $75.00 per pair

| Leather Reinforced Bracers |

|
These bracers have a 6 oz. leather base, with an 11/12 oz. reinforcement "plinth" that besides being effective as armor, just looks cool! This is some of the most fun armor that I have made to date. Choose brown or black, lace up only.
Colors available: Black and Brown
Styles: Lace up closure only
Price: $45.00

| Hand Spider |
|
If you want the real hard edge, our studded hand spider (shown above right) will do the trick. Worn over a black glove, it looks particularly menacing. Available in black with silver hardware.
We also offer a hand spider with spikes (shown below). Please check local laws for weapons statutes before purchasing this spider.
