Avalon, in many legends, was the island to which Joseph of Arimathea took the Grail, which was entrusted to him for safekeeping. Many legends tell of him taking it there, for the island had magical and amazing powers...The Avalon cloak is a Ravensmoon original, inspired both by the history and legends of Northern Europe and by all things fantastical and magical. The Avalon is a half round cloak with a front panel that acts as an integral mantle. It does not have a hood, which allows for a wide range of headgear options. This cloak is only available in lengths of up to 60" (tea length on a six foot tall person). A beautiful cloak for any follower of magic, myth or legend.
